Driveways

Most driveway calls we take are replacements. A slab cracking along the same line every winter, or a corner that has sunk where the delivery truck cuts across it. We strip it, fix what is underneath, and pour a new one thickened at the edges where vehicles actually cross. New pours on bare ground are priced the same way, by what the base needs, not by the square foot alone.

  • Replacements and tear-outs
  • New pours and extensions
  • Thickened edges and aprons

Foundations

Footings, stem walls and slab foundations for new construction, room additions, shops and outbuildings. This is the part of the job an inspector signs off on, so we pour to your plans and schedule around the inspection rather than around us. If an existing foundation has moved, we work out why before anyone talks about a repair.

Walkways

A walkway is mostly a drainage decision. We set the forms to follow your grade so water leaves the building instead of collecting at a door or a garage lip, then pour a path wide enough for two people to pass. Homes, rentals and commercial frontage, including entries that need to stay level for a wheelchair or a walker.

  • Front paths and side yards
  • Commercial sidewalks
  • Step-free entries

Patios

We start by walking the yard, because the size of a patio is decided by what goes on it. A table and chairs, a grill run, a covered room you will actually use in July. Then we talk finishes, and where the control joints fall, so the slab cracks along a line we chose instead of across the middle of it.

05

Slabs

Pads for shops, garages, sheds, RVs, generators, AC units and equipment. A slab is only as good as the base under it, so most of the day goes on grading and compaction before a truck ever shows up. Tell us what is going on top and roughly what it weighs, and we size the thickness and the reinforcement to match.

  • RV and equipment pads
  • Base prep and rebar

Decks

Pool decks, spa surrounds, elevated decks and balconies. About half the calls are a new pour formed around a pool, and half are a tired deck with a sound slab still under it that wants resurfacing rather than removing. Which one you have changes the price by a lot, so we work that out before quoting.

Waterproofing

Waterproof coating systems for balconies, elevated decks and anything with living space underneath it. The coating is the last layer rather than the whole job. What actually keeps water out is the slope it goes over, the flashing at the doors and edges, and the lath and base coats beneath the finish, which is where most failures start.
